Thank you for the wonderful response in honoring Charlie's 16th Birthday! It has meant the world to us to have so many people give on his behalf. If you’d like to take part, please go to: https://givebutter.com/charlies-16th-birthday.
Babies love sleeping in the car!
The ryhtymic motion of a moving vehicle lulls babies to sleep. It even lulls other passengers to sleep on car rides!

Babies sleeping peacefully on a car ride is great! Once the car has stopped, and the baby is taken out of the car, is it important to transfer the baby to a flat surface.

When baby is in the home = baby is sleeping on a flat surface.

We know, no one wants to wake a sleeping baby. We also know babies left in carseats have a much higher chance of SIDS. Transferring a sleeping baby may wake them a bit, but it also may save their life.

There is a significant suffocation hazard if you keep the baby in the car seat. The head/neck & trunk flexion of a baby's body decreases their air flow, oxygen levels and has caused infant death.
