This is the worst question! Babies are not meant to sleep through the night. Their tiny bodies have tiny tummies. They will eventually sleep through the night, just not yet.

The best thing I was told to do was get out of bed when doing feedings in the middle of the night. This helped me not fall asleep so I could take care of my baby and put them to sleep safely.

As a mom and grandmother, I have changed how I raise my babies. When we know better, we do better. And we all want the best for our babies.

It is hard to stay awake when feeding the baby in the middle of the night. Scroll, rock, do what you can but do whatever you can to not fall asleep with them so you can get them to bed safely.
