In Series 2 of How I Stay Awake (aka How I Pandemic) we are going to talk about some of our favorite binge-worthy shows.
If you are anything like us, perhaps your tv game started strong with respectable programming like Ozark or The West Wing. Then, as time passed you began cruising down the slippery slide of content created by the CW circa 1999. Can't stop, won't stop.
With Netflix, Prime, Hulu, YouTube, Disney+, Vudu, Plex, etc, etc there is no shortage of yummy, devourable content.
Here are some of our favorite shows right now and always. Who are we kidding? We've watched Gilmore Girls from start to finish 7 times.
Schitt's Creek might be the happiest show ever created. These characters deliver hilarious lines that capture exactly how we feel. (Sorry kids and hubs.)
We think this list is good enough to keep you awake, or keep your mind occupied for hours.
But that's not all...
We'd be lying to you if we didn't admit that we enjoyed Tiger King too much.
We might not be able to stop ourselves from watching The Bachelor franchise's newest trash, Listen to Your Heart.
And, somehow Love is Blind is the most relatable show on television as contestants are locked in their own little rooms of emotion trying to figure out how to connect with people they can't see or touch. We feel seen.

Share your ideas with us, and we'll be glad to give you a shout out! Just remember, while watching a great show can be a good way to stay awake, it can make a tired person even more tired. Keep in mind, couches and chairs are particularly dangerous places for your baby. If you feel yourself getting tired, put baby back in their own sleep surface before you put them at risk.
Making and executing a plan to practice safe sleep and stay awake while caring for your baby takes a whole lot of strength and support, but it also takes guts and creativity and maybe a good show or two.
Safe sleep (and pandemics) are hard. But, you and your baby are worth it.
